Amanda was born and raised in Australia. With active parents and two brothers she spent most of her childhood outside either at the beach and playing any sport possible. Eventually it was her passion for sport that bought her to the United States. Under a soccer scholarship she attended and graduated from Bethel University were she studied Kinesiology and Education.
 
Amanda comes to Orange Theory Fitness with over 15 years experience in the health and fitness industry, including personal training, management and a list of athletic accomplishments that include being a Individual CrossFit Games Athlete and a starter in the Inaugural Professional GRID League. Although she considers herself ‘retired’ from elite sport she still very much likes an athletic challenge and proving people wrong.
 
“Being told that I can’t do something has been a big motivator in my life, especially as a women. I want to encourage others to not have their goals and dreams stifled. Mostly I want to be a strong role model for my son”

Alex is a UT Tyler alumni and competed in collegiate soccer as well.He graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology. He currently holds a NASM personal trainer certification. His hobbies consist of playing soccer, disk golf, and long walks with his German Shepherd. He has a passion for helping others achieve their health and fitness goals. What he enjoys about orange theory is helping people walk out stronger and healthier than they walked in.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE OTF EXERCISE?

Coach Brittany is 26 years old and has been working in this industry for a year now. She power lifted for 3 years and played softball for 14 years, 2 of them in college after receiving a full scholarship. She is currently working towards her degree and hopes to eventually become a Strength and Conditioning coach. She says she likes challenging herself in the workouts, pushing her limits and feeling satisfied when she runs faster or lifts that heavier weight than the week before. She says the best part about coaching at OTF is watching the clients transform. For her, seeing someone start to gain confidence and become healthier and knowing she helped them achieve that is a very rewarding experience.

HEART MONITORED TRAINING

 

Backed by the science of post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC), our heart-rate monitored training is designed to keep heart rates in a target zone that stimulates metabolism and increases energy. Our clients burn an estimated 500 to 1000 calories per workout. We are 5 zone heart-rate interval training.

COACH SUPPORT

 

Working out in a group provides accountability and structure to help achieve fitness goals. You are more likely to get a great workout and better results from the well-rounded movements and pace direction you get in a group setting. The session motivates each other to pick up the pace and reach beyond plateaus. People who workout in groups stick to their goals more consistently than those that workout alone.
